A mass of balloons will be launching from Brown Brothers Milawa Airfield, on the eastern side of Milawa-Bobinwarrah Road, just past Lindenwarrah at Milawa, opposite Brown Brothers visitor entrance. Preparation for morning flights starts at 6.30am with balloons lifting off from 7am.
The misty mornings of winter make the vision even more magical. Each morning up to 20 balloons launch at Milawa in northeast Victoria’s King Valley. The Mass Ascensions take place between 7am and 8am daily and spectators are welcome onto the launch field. The balloons often fly towards Oxley and beyond.
The semi inflated walk through balloon will also be operating Saturday and Sunday only from 7.30am.
Tea, coffee and hot chocolate available from 6:30am. Fundraising BBQ egg & bacon breakfast from 6.30am provided by local schools and community groups.
