Perth City to Surf

The Perth City to Surf for Activ has a rich 44 year history and is WA’s most loved community sporting event. Run annually on the last Sunday in August, the event attracts participants from around Australia and overseas. The event has a unique festival atmosphere at both the start in Perth City and even more so at the finish at City Beach overlooking the sparkling Indian Ocean.

The event includes a Marathon, Half Marathon, 12km Run, 12km Walk, 4km Run and Walk and a 4km Wheelchair– so there’s something for any level of fitness. The Marathon and Half Marathon courses are one of the most picturesque in the world - winding along the beautiful Swan River and through WA’s number one tourist attraction, the magnificent Kings Park Botanic Gardens.
